Description

Coach Course:

As an instructor for the course, you will learn to do and teach the elements of the course, have access to the class presentations, demo videos, and course content. While the techniques included in the course are basic, having the ability to transfer this type of information to ordinary people and empower them to be their first responder is a heavy responsibility not to be taken lightly.

Within the instructor course there will be a student seminar that you will assist teaching. This will give you a first hand look at the types of questions, students, and concerns that you are likely to run into when running your own course.

Seminar:
The Active Killer Defense® program prepares every day citizens to respond to a mass attack situation if they are armed or unarmed. Using basic striking, wrestling, takedowns, wrestling takedowns and trauma care, anyone can be their own first responder. Students should wear athletic clothing for this session as it is primarily a hands-on, active course.

Class will entail a total of 3 hours of combined instruction and application:

· Instruction on unarmed response: Keynote presentation, warm-up (functional for task at hand), combative training, pistol, and rifle disarms, solo tackles, team tackles, training drills

· Trauma Care: stopping massive bleeding (care under fire and tactical field care), use of IFAK type medical kit, practical application

· “Bringing It All Together”: training drills designed to expose students to all elements of the training
